Tottenham will be playing hosts to Sunderland on Tuesday, November 9 at 2000 GMT at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham would be looking to get back to winning ways in this game against Sunderland after being thrashed by Bolton 4-2 in their previous fixture.

Tottenham would want their high profile players to live upto expectations they have created this season. Gareth Bale would need to create more opportunities for the front line consisting of Peter Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko to score more often.

As for Sunderland they would be looking to win a second game on the trot. Sunderland would want Asamoah Gyan to continue his scoring form in this game. Defender Phil Bardsley signed a new deal with Sunderland and that would help lift the moral of the other players. Sunderland would want to go into this game with the confidence they have, after beating Stoke City in their last fixture 2-0.

The game seems evenly poised with each of the teams having a chance to win the game.
